Bob Young Vice President Technology & Chief Technology Officer Southwest Airlines Co. Bob leads Southwest’s Technology Teams including: Enterprise Business Services, Application Maintenance & Support, Application and Data Architecture; Change and Deployment, Data Security & Tools, IT Operations & Support, Technology Field Services Field Services, and Technology Engineering. Bob joined Southwest in August 2008 as the Vice President Technology and Chief Technology Officer. Before joining Southwest Airlines, Bob held executive positions at several Fortune 50 companies including Motorola, Harrah’s Entertainment, and Qwest Communications (formerly US West) in technology. His experiences include IT strategy, applications development, program management, Operations, Architecture & Integration for companies with revenues in the $15-40 billion. In addition to his IT experience, Bob successful led new product development and marketing departments. As a military veteran, he served our country as an Officer and Naval Aviator with the United States Navy.
